Justin wins 2026 American Prize in Conducting

Dr. Justin John Moniz has been named the Winner of The American Prize in Conducting (Musical Theatre Division) for his work conducting Titanic at NYU Steinhardt. This national honor recognizes excellence in conducting and comes in a particularly competitive year, with the top awards in the Musical Theatre Division presented to conductors from NYU Steinhardt, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and Oklahoma City University. Moniz extends his sincere congratulations to fellow honorees Ian Axness and Matthew Mailman and expresses his gratitude to The American Prize for this recognition.
