As an internationally recognized vocal pedagogue and practitioner, Justin’s methodology is rooted in evidence based practice. He is particularly passionate about identifying the parallels between voice science and sports medicine, specifically as it pertains to vocal load, efficiency, and sustainability. Justin’s experiences as a voice teacher, coach, and researcher have afforded his students successes in some of the world’s premiere venues, including appearances on Broadway, international tours, television, and in regional theaters and opera houses such as Opera Philadelphia, Central City Opera, Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre, Virginia Opera, and the New York Philharmonic. As a guest clinician, he has presented over a hundred vocal pedagogy lectures and performance workshops at some of the nation’s top training programs including Boston Conservatory at Berklee, The New England Conservatory, The Royal Conservatory, Oklahoma City University, and the University of Miami.
